TIDEWATER BARGE LINES

As a normal course of our business, Tidewater handles grain, petroleum products, wood products, liquid and dry fertilizers, and all types of containerized freight. Tidewater also has towboats, personnel, and specialty barges that are capable of accommodating a wide range of other transportation needs over the full length of the Columbia-Snake River System.

GRAINS

Tidewater has 62 grain barges with capacity of 203,000 short tons or 6,733,000 bushels. Our barges operate along the entire length of the Columbia and Snake River System, from Lewiston, Idaho to Longview, Washington.

LIQUID PRODUCTS

Tidewater transports refined petroleum products, ethanol, biodiesel, and renewable fuels in its fleet of eight double-hulled barges with a capacity of 440,000 barrels. Tidewater operates under a comprehensive safety management system that ensures the health and safety of our employees, the public, and the environment.

CONTAINERS

Tidewater is engaged in both the terminaling and transportation of export and solid waste containers. Tidewater moves solid waste in sealed containers from Vancouver, WA to our terminal in Boardman, OR where they are taken by truck to a landfill in Eastern Oregon.

WOOD PRODUCTS

Tidewater handles a variety of paper-related products such as wood chips, pulp and paper. Wood chips are handled in bulk and support the just-in-time delivery service needs of the various mills within the Columbia and Snake River Systems.
